Adult Opportunities

Circle of Light Prayer Group

All are welcome to join a group prayer experience in the MUM parlor on Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. The Circle of Light prayer experience allows people to come together to share the many blessings that come from praying together as a group. Participants have opportunities for sharing blessings and concerns. There are brief spoken prayers before and after a time of silent prayer and meditation. There is time to share with each other after the prayer session as well. Please contact Bill Frase at bfrase11@ for more information.

A NEW PLACE TO BE: Spiritual Birth & Renewal

Summer Study

Wednesday Mornings at 10:00 a.m. beginning July 10

Thursday Evenings at 7:00 p.m. beginning July 11

 Led by Pastor Ed

From comfort, darkness, warmth, to exposure, bright lights, and cold air, birth is always a transition from one place to the next. But these transitions mean an opportunity for continued life, growth, and possibilities. However, there are times when change does not take place, as it should. Sometimes we become stuck in cycles and habits missing the fullness of life God intends for us to have and share. This series of scripture, videos, and discussion invites you into a better, newer place. One where change is happening and it comes through an engagement with the One “who makes all things new.”  It will be a time to stir our imagination so we might capture a glimpse of a dream that is yet to come and at the same time being fulfilled before our very eyes. These thinkers and theologians, authors and storytellers, will share what has happened in their own lives and how we might join with them in this journey.  May we, together, step into a better place.

July 10 & 11: A New Place as Choosing Life (John 10:7-10 msg.)

July 17 & 18: A New Place as Rebirth (John 3:1-8 msg.)

July 24 & 25: A New Place as Being Unashamed (Romans 5:1-10 msg.)

July 31 & Aug. 1: A New Place as Seeing (John 9:1-12 msg.)
