The church receives 5% of the
value of each Giant Eagle card thw we sell for our general fund ($5 for
every $100) and it doesn’t cost you anything extra. Here are some ways to
make the cards work for you and MUM:

Buy Giant Eagle cards for your
everyday grocery shoppping - use them just like cash.

Give Giant Eagle cards as
gifts (people can buy their own food, gasoline, gift cards, or treats).

Use the cards to buy gift
cards from other merchants (Kohls; Macy’s; Bed, Bath and Beyond; Best
Buy; Sears, Itunes, Barnes & Noble, Pittsburgh Pirates, Southwest
Airlines, etc.) to use while you are shopping or to give as gifts.
Giant Eagle sells gift cards from over 100 other merchants.
Remember every time you spend $50
at Giant Eagle, you can get Fuel Perks to buy gas at GetGo Stations. (If you
are planning a big purchase at somewhere like Best Buy - like a $300 camera
- consider starting at MUM by buying $300 worth of gift cards, go to G.E.
and use them to buy $300 of Best Buy cards to use to buy the camers. For a
little extra effort, you have earned the church $15 and yourself .60 off
per gallon on your next gasoline purchase. It may not seem like much,
but if we all did this for large purchase, just think how it would add up!

If
you have been participating in the Smiley Bucks fundraiser for the UMW
that the Mary Circle has sponsored, here’s your chance to expand your
dining horizons. If you have not participated in the program before,
here is your chance to choose your favorite restaurant. The program is
being expanded to include several of the most popular restaurant chains
in the area. The UMW will get about 10% of the proceeds from any of the
restaurants. This opportunity has been made available because all of the
cards are being bought through a central outlet. The cards or
certificates that you buy work the same as any gift cards or
certificates at the participating restaurants; the only difference is
that you are helping the UMW missions at the same time that you are
enjoying a nice meal.

friends’ favorite dining establishments and take orders for cards, plan
a lunch outing with a group, and make a gift list to satisfy all those
